How We Use It in Coaching
After completing the assessment, you receive a personal report. It identifies your dominant talent patterns—the ways of thinking, feeling, and working that come most naturally to you. Every talent has two sides. Used well, your talents are your
greatest asset: they energize you, come naturally, and produce your best work. But every talent also has a shadow side—the same pattern that makes you effective can also cause you to overdo it, or hold you back when you suppress it because it doesn't feel "professional enough."
For example:
→ A natural Achiever gets things done—but may keep pushing long after their energy is gone.
→ A natural Harmony-seeker builds consensus—but may avoid necessary conflict until it's too late.
→ A natural Learner grows constantly—but may never feel ready enough to act.
In coaching, we use your report to understand both sides: what gives you energy, what drains it, and where your patterns
work for or against you. That insight becomes the foundation for practical, lasting change.
Most stress advice treats symptoms.
We address the patterns that cause them.

FAQ's
Some questions have been asked before. Is your question not there, please feel free to reach out.
-
I already know my strengths. Why do I need an assessment?
Most people know what they're good at—but not why certain situations consistently drain them, or why they keep repeating the same patterns under pressure. The assessment goes deeper than self-awareness. It shows the specific talent combinations that shape your behaviour—including the ones working against you.
-
What if I don't like what the assessment reveals?
The assessment doesn't judge—it describes. There are no weak talents, only talents used in the wrong context. Many clients are surprised to discover that what they considered a flaw is actually an underused strength.
-
I've done personality tests before. How is this different?
Most personality tests categorize you into a type. CliftonStrengths doesn't put you in a box—it shows your unique ranking of 34 talent themes. With 1 in 33 million possible combinations, your profile is genuinely yours. And unlike personality types, talents can be developed.
-
What makes this different from other coaching?
Most coaching gives you frameworks. This gives you self-knowledge. You leave not just with strategies, but with a deep understanding of why you work the way you do—so you can make better decisions for the rest of your career.
Personal, one-on-one coaching tailored to your specific talent profile—not a generic program. Combined with many years of recognizing burnout patterns in high-performers, and my own experience with burnout. I know what it looks like from both sides.
-
What does the CliftonStrengths® assessment involve?
It's a 45-minute online questionnaire—no right or wrong answers. You receive a personal report ranking your 34 talent themes in your unique order. In our first coaching session, we explore what your results mean for you specifically.
-
What if my situation is more complex than burnout?
Most situations are. Burnout is rarely just about workload—it's about misalignment between who you are and how you're working. Whether you're dealing with stress, a career crossroads, team friction, or simply a nagging sense that something's off—that's exactly what this coaching addresses.
-
How do I know if I'm ready for coaching?
If you're asking that question, you probably are. Coaching works best when something feels off enough to want to change it—but not so acute that you need clinical support first. If you're unsure, the clarity call is exactly the right place to find out.
-
What results can I expect?
Most clients notice a shift in self-awareness within the first 2-3 sessions—suddenly understanding why certain work exhausts them while other work energizes them.
Behavioural changes—like clearer boundaries, better energy management, and more strategic choices about which work to accept—typically develop over 8-12 weeks. These changes last because they're based on how you're naturally wired.
-
What's included and how much does it cost?
All coaching includes CliftonStrengths® assessment. Investment and program length are tailored to your situation.
-
Can the coaching be done remotely?
Yes. Both in-person and online formats are available. In-person tends to create deeper connection; online offers more flexibility.
-
What's the ideal team size for a workshop?
4-12 people works best. In that range, everyone gets to see their own talents reflected in—and complemented by—their colleagues. That recognition is often what shifts team dynamics most powerfully.
