I've spent years working with leaders across some of the most demanding environments in the world — including over a decade in the superyacht industry, where the pressure is relentless and showing weakness simply isn't an option.

 

I kept seeing the same pattern.

Experts growing into their leadership because they were brilliant at their field. Nobody taught them the rest.

 

And along the way, most had learned to fit their role — rather than work from who they actually are. So they kept going — until something gave way.
